Barbara Booth, School Administrator and Forest Ecology and Farm Experience Teacher: Before working at SFWS, Barbara’s vocations in agriculture and education led her to teach and farm in Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States. Barbara received a BA from Middlebury College in Vermont and a Masters of Environmental Science from Antioch New England Graduate School. Barbara especially enjoys participating in the growth of children and the Santa Fe Waldorf School, and supporting the Waldorf movement over the years.

| Carole Cressman, Elementary School Operations and Campus Site Coordinator: Carole began working at SFWS in 2002 in the kindergarten and as a substitute teacher in the lower school. She assumed her current position in 2005. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, her experience spans corporate administrative work, graduate study addressing the working needs of special populations, outdoor education with adults and adolescents, building and operating a ropes course, and developing a hiking and backpacking program for adolescents. Her two daughters, Daniella and Amia, have attended SFWS since kindergarten. |

| Michael Davis, Site Maintenance Technician: Michael hails from California and has lived in Santa Fe for the last 12 years. Mike served in the Navy prior to his 40 years in the construction and maintenance professions. He has been a white water rafting guide for 9 years. Mike is a father and grandfather and enjoys working at SFWS around the laughter and exuberance of children on campus. |

| Debbie DeMarais, Executive Assistant to the Administrator, Assistant to the Development Director, and the Enrollment and Outreach Director: Debbie brings nearly twenty years of non-profit experience ranging from management to development, including media and graphic design knowledge to the Santa Fe Waldorf School. A native of New Mexico, returning in 2005, she enjoys spending time in her organic vegetable garden, working on her home, pursueing an Interior Design degree, and enjoying the great outdoors. |

Linda Forrest, Human Resources and Accounts Payable: In 1983 Linda moved to Santa Fe to help start SFWS as a kindergarten teacher. She later was a class teacher for 8 years and currently is working in the Business Office in human resources and bookkeeping. Her two children are SFWS graduates.

| Mary Freitas, College Guidance Counselor and Accreditation Team Coordinator: Mary taught in the Santa Fe Public Schools and was a founding teacher of SFWHS. She has degrees from St. John’s College in Santa Fe and the University of New Mexico. She also is completing the Waldorf High School Teacher Training Program at Rudolf Steiner College. Mary discovered Waldorf education when she worked as Director of Admissions for St. John’s College and met some of the outstanding young Waldorf alumni applying to the college. |

| Jillian Hershberger, Faculty Library: For many years Jillian worked as a children's librarian in a public library, having received her MLS from Indiana University. Jillian received her master's in Waldorf Early Childhood Education from Sunbridge College in New York. Jillian's favorite aspects of her work, besides the care and feeding of the children, are the warm relationships she enjoys with both colleagues and parents. |

Thomas Keppel, Business Manager: Thomas came to appreciate the holistic approach of Waldorf education as a young parent in his native Germany. Before joining the Santa Fe Waldorf team in 2011, he worked seven years with a non-profit organization assisting teachers nationwide in bringing wonder and joy to the classroom. Thomas honed his management skills over 20 years in multiple industries in Germany, France and the US. He thrives on complex challenges and enjoys finding simple and creative solutions.

| Judith K. Nix, Development Director: Judith has worked as a professional development officer for more than 35 years, both as an employee and as an independent consultant to nonprofit organizations. Judy boasts that in her career “no,” in all its forms and styles, has served as an inspiration to her work. |

| Cita Riley, Enrollment & Outreach Director: Cita has been associated with SFWS since enrolling her children here in 1990. She has served on the Board of Trustees for 10 years. She has served as the Enrollment & Outreach Director since July 2005. Cita received a BA from the University of Texas, a Physical Therapy degree from University of Pennsylvania, a Masters degree from the University of Utah, and a Certificate in Non-profit Management from the University of New Mexico. |

| Frances Salles, Outreach Assistant: Frances has a background working in non-profit organizations in both the UK and the USA, primarily in community development and volunteer management. She served on the Board of her son's Waldorf School in England. At the SFWS she was a Kindergarten Assistant, has chaired the Parent Council and the Holiday Faire, and currently serves on the Outreach Committee at SFWS. Her son attends the SFWS. |

Elizabeth Towers, High School Coordinator: Elizabeth brings to SFWHS thirty years of experience in arts administartion, education and design practice, as well as her love of nature. She studied fine art and interior design at San Francisco State University, received an MA in Art History from San Jose State University, and has taught at UC Santa Cruz, UNC Asheville and Marymount University in Virginia. Her breadth of administrative work ranges from academic support and nonprofit performing arts management to gallery management and interiors/architectural design practice. Dedication to the arts and interdisciplinary education, Elizabeth was drawn to Waldorf education for her three children and continues to be inspired by its role in awakening the individual into an active life of creating, learning, and serving others.
