Instructions for your Tuition Assistance Application

The following application dates are for families applying for Tuition Assistance.  Additional information regarding our Tuition Assistance policy can be found by downloading this document.

Important Application Dates

CURRENT FAMILIES

February 8 - Tuition Assistance applications must be received by the Business Office. A completed application includes:

1) A Parent Financial Statement (PFS) must be completed online at http://sss.nais.org. SFWS school code: 7139. SSS accepts payment by credit card only. We have access to this information shortly after you submit it.

2) Copies of the following documents and a $50 application fee. This fee is non-refundable.

a) If you did not apply for tuition assistance last year please provide a copy of your 2011 tax return or, if complete, the 2012 tax return.

b) 2012 W2s for both custodial parents.

Tuition assistance funds are limited. Meeting the above deadline will help us to better meet your needs.

First week of March - Provided there are no delays from SSS, Enrollment Contracts and/or notification of Tuition Assistance Award Letters will be mailed to parents.

Mid to Late March - Signed Enrollment Contract along with a deposit of $250 must be received by the Business Office by the date indicated on the Enrollment Contract or tuition assistance may be reallocated to another family.

May 15 - Copy of 2012 tax returns due to the Business Office if not already submitted. The tax return should match the PFS or allocated tuition assistance may be adjusted.

NEW FAMILIES

The majority of Tuition Assistance funds are allocated in February and March. We encourage new families to apply as soon as possible. The earlier you apply for tuition assistance, the more likely we will be able to meet your needs. We allocate tuition assistance upon acceptance of your child to the school.

Complete your tuition assistance application by following steps 1 and 2 for current families.

Provided there are no delays from SSS, Annual Tuition Agreements and/or notification of Tuition Assistance award letters will be mailed to parents within 30 days.

Signed Enrollment Contracts along with a deposit of $250 must be received by the Business Office within two weeks or tuition assistance may be reallocated to another family.

May 15 - Copy of 2012 tax returns due to the Business Office if not already submitted. The tax return should match the PFS or allocated tuition assistance may be adjusted.
