May Faire honors an ancient festival marking the changing of the seasons. The tree of life was part of this ritual. The tree of life is today the May Pole, bedecked with ribbons and flowers. The ground is strewn with the blossoms of spring, and the children, many wearing flowers, dance and sing around the May Pole. Songs, dancing, games and food all add to the gaiety of the day.
Please feel free to join us for coffee or tea at 9:45 AM. May Faire festivities will begin at 10:45 AM this year.
