Supporting Our School

The Santa Fe Waldorf School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies solely on tuition and Annual Sustaining Fund (ASF) gifts for its operating funds each year.  The ASF gifts are used primarily for tuition assistance and faculty salaries.  One of Waldorf’s strongest values is a commitment to maintain a diverse student body.  We achieve that by allocating nearly 20% of our operating budget to tuition assistance, an extraordinary amount by any measure.

We also strive to attain 100% Annual Sustaining Fund participation from our parent community.  In addition to parents' generous gifts, they also donate their time, talent and energy at school festivals, campus cleanup days, and serve on school committees and the Board of Trustees. Without parent's volunteer hours, the SFWS would need to raise significantly more funds annually to balance our budget.  We are most grateful for parents' participation and support at all levels.
