Acceptances into the Santa Fe Waldorf School are based on availability and the school's ability to meet each child's needs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Learn more about how Waldorf education can benefit your child by attending a Visitor Morning or arranging for a private tour with the Admissions Coordinator.

The interview is an opportunity for parents and class teachers to discuss the education—its philosophical premises and methodology—as it pertains to the individual child. It allows parents to express their expectations, and provides the Class Teacher an opportunity to assess if the school can accommodate the young person’s gifts and challenges.
Upon the successful completion of the interview, registration fees are paid and an Enrollment Contract is signed. All fees and tuition are listed in the Tuition and Fee Schedule. Tuition assistance is available for qualified families in grades 1-8, and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Any child whose application is received after the class has reached maximum enrollment will automatically be placed on a waiting list after having been interviewed. Should an opening arise, the parents and prospective student will be contacted. Special consideration is given to SFWS siblings and Waldorf transfer students. If the parents cannot be reached, the next name on the list will be called. The child's name will remain on the waiting list until he or she is enrolled, or the child's removal from the list or refuse an opening offered. Please contact us periodically for the wait list status. No child will be added to a waiting list without first submitting an application along with the non-refundable application fee payment.
