At Waldorf, we offer a warm and gentle welcome to the littlest learners—and their caregivers, too! Conducted by early education specialist Kyce Bello, classes include creative free play, early socialization, fresh ideas for parenting, plus songs and games that delight children and caregivers alike.

Rosebud Garden Classes

Babies from aged six weeks to crawling and their grown-up parents are welcome.

Community of Connection

As parents and caregivers nurture friendships and provide support to one another, babies are busy enjoying one another, their expanding abilities, and the songs and interactive games we share. Mindful observation practices deepen the caregiver’s intuitive understanding of their infant’s needs and abilities, and cultivate a joyful ease in parenting.

Each class includes simple toy making projects, inspiring readings, and hot tea. The tone is supportive and affirming of each parent’s unique wisdom and insight.

About the teacher

Kyce Bello encountered the Waldorf approach to early childhood when her first child was a toddler, and it was love at first sight. She and a group of friends created a Waldorf-inspired playgroup that became the seed for these classes. She has studied child development at Sophia’s Hearth Family Center in New Hampshire, with a focus on the first three years of life. Her daughters currently attend first and fourth grade at the Santa Fe Waldorf School.

Critical thinking, confidence and curiosity are hallmarks
of a Waldorf graduate, and key to thriving in the modern world.
